Always a gentleman in whatever he did, Konsul excelled in the breed ring, achieved an all-breed High in Trial, and was a Top Producer. Most of all, he was a loyal companion his entire life. Bred very sparingly, he was the sire of 19 champions, including Top Producers, Ch. Bing's Razzmatazz von Konsul, CD, BROM, sire of 62 champions, Ch. Bing's Galactica von Konsul, CDX, NSD, NRD, V, BROM, dam of 15 champions, and Ch. Bing's Picante von Konsul, CD, BROM, dam of 10 champions.

My favorite story about Konsul occurred as I stood at ringside holding another breed. A man walked up to me and asked if I was the person who showed a Weimaraner in obedience that morning. When I told him that I had, he said how much he enjoyed watching him work and how good he thought he was. He said he couldn't believe every time the judge said exercise finished, the dog would roll his eyes up to the top of his head. He said he felt this dog should have won High in Trial, as he thought he worked the best of any dog he saw that day! I had the privilege of telling him that he had, indeed, gone High in Trial!
