WCA Hall of Fame 1990
Pure Grafmar in breeding and pure bird-dog in performance, Bitsu was known as “The Outlaw” because of his stubborn and willful temperament. His first owners were unable to handle him and place this “free spirit” with Joe Lipop who sent him to Chet Cummings for Field training. In 1951 and 1952, Chet and Bitsu won the WCA National Open All Age. He became one of the breeds most famous trial dogs and proved to be an excellent sire as well. Among his get was Crested Glade Warrior, the first Weimaraner to win the National German Pointing Dog Championship.
